2026 Poster Artist

Joe Palec

Joe Palec’s work seamlessly marries doodling and storytelling, blending intricate, cartoon-like imagery with layered narratives. Through his playful and deliberate doodles, he invites viewers to “take a ride” across spectacular scenes filled with quirky characters and cleverly hidden Easter eggs. Each piece unfolds like a visual journey, rewarding close attention with unexpected discoveries.

Originally from Milwaukee, WI, Palec has called Denver, CO home for the past 15 years, where he continues to evolve. His work spans large-scale murals, packaging design, and merchandise, reaching audiences on an international level.

Much like a snowflake, no two of Palec’s artworks are ever exactly alike. Each piece a one-of-a-kind world waiting to be explored.

Choose Your Own Adventure

This year’s poster is a Choose Your Own Adventure through the many sides of theatre, dance, and the spectacle that is Denver Fringe Festival. It guides you from stage to stage, highlighting the wide range of performances artists bring to life. Some classical, some heartfelt, and some unapologetically strange.

From in the spotlight to behind the curtain, no theatrical cliché is off limits. It’s a playful nod to live performance in all its forms, with just enough surprises to keep you exploring. Enjoy the show.
