Birth of Sound

Birth of Sound is a Bharatanatyam work that journeys into the very first impulse of creation. From an unseen vibration, sound begins to unfold—shaping language, rhythm, and movement in a vast, cosmic progression. Drawing on ancient Indian and Hindu philosophy and literature, the piece moves through shifting energies—stillness and force, silence and resonance—until sound finds form in the body as dance. At once expansive and intimate, Birth of Sound invites the audience into a space where creation is not observed, but experienced—where every pulse, every pattern, echoes something far greater than ourselves.
