The vision of the end of the world in Broken Roots is not one of wastelands or nuclear winter. It is of two friends together, isolated, and searching for control in their lives in seemingly lost circumstances. The performances of the actors brings those characters to life in all their emotional complexity. Really enjoyed it!
A funny dark vision of friendship, delusion, and fear of a changing world. The show could be longer and involve more of each character exploring the premise, but the actors had wonderful chemistry and a true kindness toward their characters and each other.
