Dame Dada & the untitled Show

Witness the whimsical antics of a weird woman who adores alliteration and amusing audiences. Dame Dada serves stand-up, storytelling, satire, and spontaneous audience interactions with the glamour of Katherine Hepburn and the clowning skills of Gloria Swanson. There is no singing or dancing unless consensual. Dame Dada & the untitled Show is a playful romp and at times a personal reflection on the hypocrisies of humanity. Join in the radical stand-up story hour fun with Dame Dada & the untitled Show. “I don’t know what I just saw, but I loved it” exclaimed one Minnesotan Fringe goer.

Nichole Hamilton (she/hers) created Dame Dada in 2016 as part of the one-hundred-year celebration of the Dada art movement. She has performed the original character in New York, Florida, Tennessee, Minnesota, Nevada, and the virtual world and brings something unique to each show. An actor, director, and now associate professor of theatre arts at New Mexico State University, she is currently finishing her sabbatical driving her largest prop yet, the Absurd Automobile of Anti-Bourgeois Amusement, an art car that is a board game anyone can play.
