Day of the Dead Daddy

In 1997, writer Nelsie Spencer got the call, “Dad’s dead.” Despite the fact that Nelsie and her two big brothers hadn’t spoken to Dead Daddy in years, they all decide to go to the funeral. What happened on this trip was so unbelievable, crazy, and amazing that Nelsie knew she had to tell this story.  After more than 20 years she was finally ready to share it, no holds barred. Day of the Dead Daddy tells the tale of the three siblings (and a surprise guest) traveling to a tiny, town in Mexico to bury their father.  In this "Diabolically entertaining!" "Funny and heartbreaking," play, Nelsie takes the audience on a journey that spans six decades, while playing more than 7 characters and revealing some family secrets along the way. But the biggest bomb gets dropped graveside as adoring “fans” of dear old Dead Daddy look on.

    Accessibility: There is a ramp to the main entrance and ADA bathrooms

    Admission: You must show your ticket confirmation or purchase a ticket at the venue; all seating is general admission, audiences will wait in a queue before entry to the show
