Through a ridiculous, winding journey through every danger imaginable, Don't Kill Daisy is a choose-your-own-adventure comedy where the audience determines how Daisy’s night ends. And begins. And ends again.

Soleil Kohl (she/they) is an experimental performing artist whose work spans absurdist satire, audiovisual collage, and immersive theatre. Existing in both comedy and art spaces, Soleil interweaves clowning with multimedia design to create unique experiential theatre. Don't Kill Daisy leans into her comedy roots in improv and character work, her childhood love of anime, and willingness to find every single ending to any choose-your-own-adventure story.

Soleil has brought solo work across the US and abroad (featured on No Proscenium and BBC Scotland), and here around the Front Range regularly puts up devised ensemble theater pieces. She is a collaborator on several immersive theatre projects, including murder mysteries, wandering/historical characters, escape rooms, and original immersive work. Recent theater credits include Sweet & Lucky: Echo (2025, Third Rail Projects & Denver Center for the Performing Arts Off-Center)

Soleil puts everything into her performance. The show is physical, and silly, and exciting. While it may appeal the most to fans of video games and/or anime, there is enough going on throughout that I would challenge any audience member not to be entertained (and maybe even moved) by the end.

Soleil is a once in a lifetime writer and performer. They are in the same breath silly and profound. Give this show a chance and you will come away delighted.

Soleil did a masterful job of acting in, producing, and even helping live-direct this hilarious show! The comedy hit throughout, "Don't Kill
Daisy." The amazingly complexity -- many dozens of props, each with their own corresponding audience member, an ongoing video game, multiple costume changes, and more, never once got in the way of the laughter. And so much physical comedy! A joyful show to see.

Our favorite show at this year’s Denver Fringe Festival, and one of the best shows honestly I’ve ever seen. She starts, casting her spell as soon as you walk in the theater and before long the audience is putty in her hands. Her presence on stage – – intimate, spontaneous, funny – – is remarkable. The entire performance is improvised with the audience and one has the feeling you could literally throw anything at her and she would not be phased and would weave it into the incredible tail she spins. I laughed, I cried. Incredibly moving. Not to be missed.

I think I also saw this artist at the 2025 fringe. Funny, interactive and thought provoking. Hope to see her again!

So creative and comical. The show has tons of audience participation and the actress is so good at adapting to the suggestions. The character is well funny and the actress performs hilarious physical comedy. I loved the parallels between video game and anime characters. Super funny, silly and wacky. I would totally recommend and see again.
