Exhausted Paint: The Death of Van Gogh
This chaotic one-act is built around ideas of disorientation and struggle, often based on Van Gogh's extensive collected letters. These are exemplified by an ever-present wheel. The wheel holds various letters that signify specific moments throughout Van Gogh's life all contributing to a final, chilling conclusion. After the initial scene, the actor will spin the wheel and perform the scene that's landed on. Consequently, the play doesn’t have a set internal structure, only the introduction and finale are set. The other scenes can happen in any order, as determined by the spin of a wheel at the conclusion of each scene.
