Cam Poter (@camonclown) is a Los Angeles-based clown of Argentinean and American descent, whose antics have taken him to the quarterfinals of America's Got Talent, a mime role on HBO’s Silicon Valley, and stages around the world. Over the past decade, he has trained with some of the most revered clown masters—Philippe Gaulier, Phil Burgers (Dr. Brown), Carlo Jacucci, John Gilkey, Zach Steel, Paola Coletto, and David Bridel—immersing himself in the art of idiocy.

Co-devised with Jeremy Poter (@songboyjeremy). Directed by Paulyboy and Shawn Stoner.

I felt very close to Carl by the end, in a good way. Really, really good! See it if you can. I just wish he played one last song.

Wow. My cheeks hurt from smiling. This show completely warmed my heart. I cannot stop singing “Just to Be Close to you, giirrrrl.” I love that this story is about family and includes brothers. I’m tearing up just thinking about the show, it is so beautiful and playful. Cam knows how to make you fall in love with him. An audience member (named Mars) even came up on stage with him and they shared a moment that was so much fun to watch. I LOVE MARS, she was an awesome addition to the show!
I will most likely listen “Just to be Close to You” at least for the next half of the year. This show is a gift.
