Maniac

Maniac is a wild comedy that blends clown, movement, lo-fi origami, and theatrical chaos in an absurd and hilarious tribunal. Loosely inspired by a real 19th-century murderer — the world's most intelligent serial killer -  this show invites audiences into a fever dream of absurd tests, unstable logic, and that gosh darn devil’s music.

Rather than retelling the crime in any straightforward way, Maniac turns judgment itself into a comic spectacle—part ritual, part vaudeville. The result is playful, unpredictable, ridiculous, and just dangerous enough to keep things interesting.

Should this man’s life be spared? That, unfortunately, is now your problem.

Todd Sullivan (performer); Natasha Mercado (director)

Todd is such an amazing performer, but his real super power is getting all of the audience bought into the absurd reality of the show. The show itself is a fun blend of slapstick and intellectual curiosity. Definitely a worthwhile experience to check it out!
So fun! Laughed a lot, learned a lot and I - for one - ran a lot ;) Todd is such a joy to watch with a booming yet gentle & inviting presence - grateful to caught this show!
Great show! Thought-provoking, funny, absurd, & philosophical
Meticulous! The part where we all shared our wishes or whatever made me tear up a bit. Todd is FIRE! This is a good ass show.
