Me and US

When I was 8, my world was shaken when my father kidnapped me to the United States. This traumatic experience has woven its way into every facet of my life, leaving both positive and negative imprints. Now, living in the country of my father's dreams, I find myself navigating the complexities of being a foreigner, a dad, and pursuing my passion as an artist. It is this very journey that I am eager to share with you, interwoven with the melodies of French and English songs that hold deep significance to me. Surrounded by my closest and most talented friends, who accompany me with their mastery of the harp, percussion, and vocals, I invite you to join me in exploring the depths of my experiences and the beauty of our shared humanity.

His credits include Town Hall Arts Center, Aurora Fox, Candlelight Dinner Playhouse, Boulder Dinner Theatre, and Kaiser Permanente Arts Integrated Resources. Many thanks to friends and family. Enjoy the show!

Ronan and his supporting performers all combined to give such an amazing and moving story, with a simultaneously heart-breaking and -warming performance. I haven't been to many theatrical productions but this one has made me want to go see more!
Ronan has created a unique, artistic and brave performance. The music ensemble adds even more texture to this piece of very touching theater. It’s not one to be missed!
A poignant account of a heartwrenching memory told through the eyes of both the boy and the man. Ronan Viard's gentle voice recalls a painful and harrowing chain of events from his youth that deftly connects us to the humanity of parenting. His performance ebbs and flows naturally from Viard's native French to his adopted American identities and seems to resonate equally with everyone in the audience.
