OBJECT: you can watch or you can participate
Welcome to Object, set within an ever-shifting pile of objects—some provided, some brought by the audience—the performance invites participants to investigate what things mean to us. Vignettes emerge and dissolve, building and dismantling inner and outer worlds. As the pile transforms, so do the roles we occupy.
Blending clown and theater, Object is at once raucous and meaningful, inviting you to consider what 'things' mean to us. Are they important or frivolous, where is the line between subject and object? What are we to ourselves and others and how do objects shape our relationships? Where is meaning? And finally, what do we keep and what do we give away.?
Bring an object that you are having trouble letting go of.
Choose whether you will sit in the participatory area or observer seats.
