Em Perez - Director

A co-founder of UnLeashed Theatre Co., Em is a Denver-based producer and director specializing in physical comedy, the absurd, and new works. Hilarious! and what talented acting and singing!
Lisa Erickson’s tale sweeps a hidden truth into the spotlight. Veronica and JC shake that truth until nothing is left but laughter and a tear.
Lisa's work is, above all, intelligent, hilarious, insightful and always well performed. Her work widens my world perspective every time I am lucky enough to be in her audience
Authentic. Poignant. Very well acted and Funny!
high energy high smart great performance
This is an hilarious show with an edge to it, taking to task our society’s obsession with weight and social media influencers. Clearly the playwright and director have put lots of thought into the play, and the actors are fantastic! You wouldn’t necessarily expect to hear an exquisite singing voice in a farce like this, but Veronica Straight-Lingo’s sultry mezzo stands out!
So much fun and GREAT acting!!!!! Don’t miss it!
Ok so I did end up seeing it. I was right. It was awesome!!!
I don't need to see it. I know its great. Get it.
I've been a fan of Lisa Wagner Erickson's work for years. This play is an absolute favorite. Witty, dark and outrageously funny. Relatable in our weight-obsessed society. The actors give it heart. Don't miss this one at the Fringe!
