The Wanderer's Tale
The Wanderer’s Tale is an original choose-your-own-adventure immersive storytelling experience featuring a classical string quartet and a narrator. This is a concert where the audience chooses between branching paths in the story, and the music responds to those choices, heightening the storytelling experience.
Lisa Wolf (Narrator) is a native New Yorker where she received formal training in classical ballet on scholarship at the Joffrey Ballet School. In her teens she began studying acting and theatre arts. She appeared in numerous off & off off Broadway productions as well as in film. When Lisa’s daughter was born in 2004 she decided to quit the business and devote herself to being a full time mom. In 2018 Lisa performed the role of the nurse in Colorado Ballet’s production of Romeo & Juliet at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. That experience reawakened her passion for performing. In the fall of 2021 at the brink of being an empty nester, Lisa began looking for a place to hone her skills and was extremely fortunate to find a home at Visionbox under the extraordinary tutelage of director Jennifer McCray Rincon.
Lucy Nemeth (Violin) is a violinist from the Bay Area, California, dedicated to storytelling, connecting, and communicating through chamber music. She is a founding member of the Lyra Quartet, praised for their “impeccable phrasing” and “rigorous and profoundly human” interpretations (Pan M 360). In 2024, Lyra was awarded the Emerging Artist Fellowship at Garth Newel Music Center in Virginia and a full scholarship to Tuckamore Music Festival in Newfoundland. Lucy strives to share music that resonates deeply with audiences, and seeks meaningful ways to bring music into everyday spaces: she has performed in daycares, schools, cafes, and correctional facilities across the United States and Canada.
Lucy has participated in the Valley of the Moon Emerging Artist Program (Sonoma, CA), ENCORE (Cleveland, OH), Bowdoin (Brunswick, ME), and Del Lago (Ajijic, MX) music festivals, and was a finalist in the McGill Chamber Music Competition in 2024 and 2022. Passionate about new music, she has premiered works by Fiona Marchetto, Cece Olszewski, and Sarah Barone, and has served as concertmaster in McGill and Northwestern’s Contemporary Music Ensembles. As a teacher, Lucy has worked with students at Oakland Unified School District’s Summer Music Camp, coached beginner string quartets at the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra’s summer camp, and often visits her old elementary school’s music classes. Lucy holds a B.Mus. from McGill University and is currently pursuing her Master’s at Northwestern University, continuing her studies with Jinjoo Cho.
Sarah Campbell (Violin) is a violinist and violist from Boston, Massachusetts. She is an avid chamber musician and orchestral player, most recently performing in Boston’s Jordan Hall as part of the Borromeo String Quartet’s Beethoven Seminar. As a Named Scholarship and Eugene Lehrer Chamber Music Award Recipient at the New England Conservatory’s Preparatory Program, her Chamber Intensive Performance Seminar quartet won First Prize at the Coltman Competition. In addition to performing with NEC’s Symphony and Philharmonia, Sarah has participated in Baroque and New Music Ensembles and multiple operas.
Sarah champions new works on NEC’s Tuesday Night New Music series and is commissioning a piece for solo viola and electronics. She has collaborated across genres/disciplines with Across the Ages Dance Project as well as Terri Lyne Carrington, Braxton Cook, and Sean Jones in MIT’s It Must Be Now!. As both an Ensemble and Community Fellow with NEC’s Community Performances and Partnerships program she connects with a wide array of audiences as a means of creating positive social change. She is a Dean’s Scholarship recipient pursuing her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance with a concentration in Teaching Artistry at New England Conservatory under the guidance of Soovin Kim.

He is a co-artistic director of the Soaring Arts Music Collective 501(c)(3) based in Denver, Colorado, a non-profit organization that puts on concerts that share many genres of music to the Denver community. He is currently attending the Cleveland Institute of Music, majoring in Viola Performance, and studying with Jeffrey Irvine for his undergraduate studies since the fall of 2022. In the past, he attended the Colburn Music Academy, where he studied privately with Teng Li, was the principal violist for the award-winning Denver School of the Arts (DSA) Advanced Orchestra, and played in the Denver Young Artist Orchestra YAO sitting principal viola.

He appears as a soloist on Christopher Tin’s album Song Offerings (Decca Gold, 2025), available on all major streaming platforms. Committed to the art of collaboration, Dylan is a member of the Empyrean Quartet and plays lead cello in Duality, a multi-genre cover band with pianist Mitchell Galligan. Passionate about bringing new music to life, he has worked closely with composers including Eric Whitacre, Christopher Tin, Veronika Krausas, Samvel Krajian, Roger Holland, and Ola Gjeilo. At the core of his compositional process is storytelling, using narrative structure and emotional arc to create music that invites audiences into an active, shared experience. He is equally active as a composer and arranger outside of the Western classical music sphere, and regularly arranges rock/pop music for Duality and professional chamber music ensembles. His arrangements have been repeatedly featured at the National Western Stock Show. Dylan is currently pursuing a double M.Mus. in Composition and Cello Performance at the University of Southern California.
