The Year of Sluttery

Tinder. Bumble. OKCupid. Coffee Meets Bagel. Even H.U.D. (Hook-Up Dating yo.)

Scarlett Jones sampled the lot of them and survived to tell the tales. True tales darlings.

After a gut-wrenching breakup, she went on a journey of purposeful sluttery and joyful feminism.

In doing so, she found herself. And some interesting menz along the way.

Singles will relate and couples can share a laugh through Scarlett's collection of titillating stories.

Hear her bare it all at Denver Fringe 2023!

Talking to Scarlett felt like connecting with an old friend as she has a warm, inviting, hilarious personality. Even if you have no experience with online or casual dating yourself, watching Scarlett perform and hearing her stories can inspire you to take control of your own sex life and most importantly, learn how to have fun. -The Pitch KC

Scarlett d. Jones, writer and storyteller.

Scarlett was energetic, enthusiastic, and unafraid. She's clearly a talented and eager storyteller with a ton of potential.
The performance would have been stronger if it had been rewritten for spoken word, as our group was frequently lost. For instance, she uses many funny descriptive nicknames for people like "Hobby Sporty Sport" sometimes without introduction. In a written work such names are capitalized and hyphenated, but aloud it was hard to follow. Another bit she uses chapter subheadings "kiss, hitch, uh-oh, zero" to punctuate her stories. In a book the purpose would be clear by formatting, but aloud it came across as an unrelated avant-garde poem and we were confused.
I hope Scarlett continues her story telling and refines her craft further, because I can't wait to hear more about her year!
